This public-private partnership brings emerging women leaders to the U.S. for a four-week mentoring program between May 2 and May 25, 2016. The professional mentoring program connects talented, emerging women leaders from all over the world, between the ages of 25-43, with members of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Leaders. The program begins with an orientation in Washington, D.C., where mentees meet with senior women leaders in government, business, academia, civil society and the media. Participants are then paired with one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Leaders from companies including Time, Google, and Wal-Mart Stores in cities across the United States. At the end of the mentoring program, emerging leaders reconvene in New York City to collectively reflect on their experience and discuss future leadership opportunities. The program provides participants with unique opportunities to develop their management and business skills while gaining experience in the U.S. business and non-profit environment.
