Application for the Fortune-U.S. State Department Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership Program
This public-private partnership brings emerging women leaders to the U.S. for a four-week mentoring program between April 24 and May 17, 2017. The professional mentoring program connects talented, emerging women leaders from all over the world with members of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Leaders. The program begins with an orientation in Washington, D.C., where mentees meet with senior women leaders in government, business, academia, civil society and the media. Participants are then paired with one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Leaders from well-known companies in cities across the United States. At the end of the mentoring program, emerging leaders reconvene in New York City to collectively reflect on their experience and discuss future leadership opportunities. The program provides participants with unique opportunities to develop their management and business skills while gaining experience in the U.S. business and non-profit environment.
